The Barnard Family: Mitchell in the Seattle Cascades

Mitchell left home the beginning of June to practice, then the first of July the group started touring the country. On the 6th, 7th, and 8th of August they will compete in Indianapolis Indiana in the DCI World Championships. Look for it on ESPN.

Bakeing in the BBQ

Recently I was making Pizza at home and thought that since it was so hot outside I would try pabking it in my BBQ Grill. I turned on all four burners on the grill and let it heat up for about 10 minutes. Then when the Pizza was ready to put in I left the outside burners on full blast and turned off the two middle burners. I then placed the Pizza right in the middle on the regular grate. It baked about 15-20 minutes and I kept checking it. It was a real success.
Give it a try your self.

I have also tried cooking Enchilada's in a pan with foil on the grill. It turned out great!

Baked Ziti

1 Jar Marinara Sauce
1 lb. boiled Penne Noodles
1 c. Sour Cream
1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese
1 egg
1/2 lb. Mozzarella Cheese

Cook Noodles in very salty water (1 tbls.) When they are Aldente Strain the liquid off. Stir into noodles 2/3 of the Marinara Sauce and set aside. Mix together Sour Cream, Parmesan cheese and egg in a small bowl. Pour 1/2 of Noodle mixture into a 9x13 dish, then pour sour cream mixture over the top and spread around with a spoon. Top that with the rest of the noodle mixture and cover with the rest of the Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese.

Bake at 350 for 30 min, or until bubbling in the center.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars Once again Brockmann is Excellent! This is actually the first in the Troubleshooters Series. Including the Troubleshooters Commander Tom Paoletti and his life long love Kelly Ashton. I really liked this book. Brockmann does not only tell one story, she includes several stories within her books and did it again in this one. If you have a love of WWII you will love the parts of this book about Tom's Uncle and Kelly's Father. I give this one a rousing 5 stars. View all my reviews >>
